price hike

with everything going up and eating into our wallets, what a better way to remind ourselves with samuel hui's classic cantopop song on price hike. the truth is that we are paying the price for it indirectly by voting in people who are only concerned for their own motives and self-interests.

Things have become pretty expensive over here too in Singapore. A papaya which used to cost $1.80 is now $2.80. And I don't want to talk about the price of petrol.....

true, everything has gone up even in neighbouring singapore. but at least singaporeans can pop over to malaysia in j.b. and do their shopping. with the singapore dollar over two times the malaysian ringgit, you can get double for what the dollar is worth. while we malaysians will have to pop over to thailand or indonesia to see our ringgit 'grow' bigger.

Graduate starting pay in S'pore is at least S$3K. Graduate starting pay in Malaysia is around RM2K+.

Btw, I love Sam Hui. Paid RM400 to hear him sing a few years ago in Bukit Jalil Stadium when he came out from retirement
