malaysian blogger detained under ISA

malaysia's most famous blogger, raja petra, was detained under the ISA (internal security act) this afternoon at 1.50pm.

yesterday when the government ordered the lifting of the ban on his website malaysia today. the hints were already there that the government would go after its most vocal internet critic with the other laws especially the draconian ISA.

now all malaysia and the world wait and see what will develop from all these.

in the meanwhile, all christians and people of other faiths, we remember raja petra and his wife in our prayers.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out, because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me.

" We must always speak out when injustice is done against other people and not think that we will not be the victims of that injustice ourselves. Always, injustice against others succeeds when good men and women stand aside and do or say nothing."  by Mr Ace Magashule

They have just arrested my MP. She was a victim of malicious lies. Yet in this country the victim get arrested and the perpetrators are left untouched.

I'll pray that this evil and immoral government will be removed if not by 916, then as soon as practicable.

Perhaps I should look at those imprecatory psalms to guide my prayers.

Words just failed to described my outrage. They say it's the darkest before dawn. Hope this will be true
you are absolutely right, the charge under ISA makes no sense. you can't just arrest someone under ISA just because some people made a petition against you. has the police investigated the matter? is there truth to the petition in the first place? if there is no truth, then the government can be sued for unlawful arrest.
